A new overview of our most recent advice to the European Commission is now available.
Today the Commission published a report on the last five years' activities of the Scientific Advice Mechanism, covering the period 2020–2024.
The report highlights the major SAM outputs during the first von der Leyen Commission, focusing on 11 pieces of advice that cover a broad range of topics -- from ways to improve cancer screening to solar radiation modification.
The report also analyses the impact of the advice, detailing how it influenced policy at the European level and within EU member states.
